SIFTHOR, LLC was founded in 2024 after recognizing the government’s need for affordable yet valuable solutions in times of lean budgets. By virtue of having faithfully served in industry and in the federal government as former Program Managers, SIFTHOR’s leadership firmly believes that consulting boutiques can still deliver balanced solutions without draining their clients’ budget or putting quality performance at risk.
At SIFTHOR we believe that in order to deliver quality services to our clients and to truly be considered experts in our craft, our staff must be certified. For this reason, SIFTHOR places a premium on sponsoring employee development programs that promote certifications in a varitey of functional expertise - such as acquistiion, human relations, contracting, program management and financial management. By investing in our employees' present, we not only enrich their experience with us, but we better prepare them for the future while delivering a high quality service to the clients whom we support.
Joseph Chaney - Founder & CEO
Joseph Chaney is the esteemed Founder and CEO of our esteemed organization. With a wealth of experience under his belt, he adeptly leads SIFTHOR with a solid educational background. Joseph holds several degrees, including a Master’s in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the International Six Sigma Institute, a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University, a Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management from the American Military University, an Associate's in Hospitality Management from the Community College of the Air Force, and an Associate's in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force.
As a native of Erie, PA, Joseph embarked on his military journey in June 2003 by enlisting in the Air Force and retiring in July 2023. With 20 years of military and professional experience, he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in diverse roles across states such as California, Florida, and Arizona, as well as internationally in locations including Belgium, Japan, and Germany. His dedication to service saw him actively contribute to numerous operations, with notable deployments taking him to countries like Qatar, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkey.
He is a communications and marketing expert, entrepreneur, and professional problem-solver who helps professionals and executives stand out from their competition by teaching them how to have game-changing conversations with their clients, colleagues and in their brand messaging based on their requirements.
With 20+ years of executive-level communications experience, Joseph knows how to cut through the small talk and teach his clients what to say and how to say it to anyone.
